Bellevue Hospital kids ’round the moon mission! 07/11/2026

In honor of NASA’s Artemis mission and America’s 250th birthday, we drew “to the Moon!” scenes with the children at Bellevue Hospital.

The kids all created unique space backgrounds then filled their Orion spacecraft with astronauts heading on around-the-moon missions. Next they rolled their paper into rockets and blasted off into outer space!

What did the astronauts see on the other side of the moon?? There were black holes and little green men and civilizations no one’s ever seen. They roved and ran tests, with one young scientist even concluding, “Saturns rings are actually made of farts!” 🤯
