Animated Gardens at New Alternatives for Children 05/15/2026

We got things growing at New Alternatives for Children, one tiny clay frame at a time! 🌱✨ The kids dreamed up colorful clay plants, sculpting everything from spiky cactus creatures to blooming fantasy flowers, then brought them to life through stop-motion animation. With a little patience, a lot of imagination, and plenty of laughter in between frames, these young artists turned simple lumps of clay into a garden full of movement and personality.

Watching their creations “grow” on screen was pure movie magic, and we loved seeing each child’s ideas take root. Huge thanks to our Event Director, Lisa LaBracio, the whole cast and crew at NAC and our dear volunteers who helped this animated adventure bloom: Elana Amity, Andrea D’Aquino, Bil Donovan, Stefano Imbert, and Tim Savage.
