Valentine’s Day at St. Mary’s Hospital! 💛 2/14/2026

Such a heartwarming way to spend Valentine’s day, drawing with the St. Mary’s Hospital kids! Our Event Director, Tim Savage, joined pro artist volunteers Dayna Gonzalez, Pedro Delgado, and Adrian Sinnott in helping the kids create original cards to share with their loved ones.

We started out with scalloped note cards and cardboard frames, donated by Blick Arts, and also some pre-printed fantasy illustration outlines that Dayna brought. Then the children dove in with their imaginations and the next thing you know we had an original art show! A love-struck SpongeBob hopped through the sky while Elmo beamed and Bert cooed about hearts and friends forever. 💕

It ‘s such a joy how genuinely excited the kids are to take the creative process from start to finish. Truly charming kids, and such a happy experience for all of us. 😊

What a joy to help the New Alternatives for Children kids turn simple tissue paper and pipe cleaners into beautiful bouquets of love. 🌸✨

It was so special to see their creativity shine as they each designed their own unique bouquet and proudly shared them with their mentors and friends. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do: the simple things have the greatest returns.
