Another great day, drawing with the kids at St. Mary’s Healthcare System for Children. We made caricatures, bat businessmen, basketball stars, and mermaids galore. For a very special treat, we got to see a fantastic animatic made by a young artist we hope to see in our animation studios someday!

New Alternatives for Children: Comic Books 02/29/24

The brilliant kids at New Alternatives took the comic templates we shared and filled them with characters classic and new. We taught a little about onomatopoeia, action lines, foreshortening, and POW! these creative kids were off on their own comic adventures.
